I am not able to activate an Office 365 subscription a new Macbook. I enter the email and it takes me to a screen where it is asking to select from Windows Live or School/Work - selection just does not progress.
Office 365 on Mac Activation
MAC w Retina: Office 365 won't let me sign in!
So I downloaded the office 365 (student) for Mac and when I tried to sign in first it would give me the "sorry we are currently experiencing problems with our server." Now it doesn't do that anymore but after I put in my email, it wouldn't let me press on the next button and the button even turned gray. I had to press enter and then it went to the next screen. Now it's asking if i'm using a Microsoft Account or a Work account but again, it wont let me press on either and whenever i do it only turns gray but it wont move to the next screen. This is soo frustrating!
"Alert" error screen when trying to share/save to OneDrive on Office for Mac
I am having the same issue as apparently many others are having. Personal OneDrive use; student. From what I can see from a quick google search, it has been going on for at least 11 days. On Office for Mac, when you want to save a document in Word or spreadsheet in Excel (I have tried PowerPoint) the normal procedure is, "File," highlight "Share" for the drop down options, and select "Save to OneDrive." This pops up a screen where you would normally select which folder to save to. Instead we get this,
I can still save to my computer but the cloud feature makes things easier when collaborating with classmates. I run Windows 8.1 Pro in a parallel (VMWare Fusion) on my Macbook and I was able to email the spreadsheet to myself, launch a parallel into Windows, and save to OneDrive like that. I'm not sure which side messed up their last update (I'm sure each side would blame the other with the consumer not knowing or caring who is really to blame) but a fix is needed. As mentioned earlier, a quick internet search (and search on this community board) shows that this isn't specific to me. Please let me know if there is a change in settings that I can make or a ETA on a patch. Thank you.
create item failed for, error creating email message, null
This error message intermittently pops up when sending emails - regardless of whether there is an attachment. It sends the email but a copy remains in the Outbox:
create item failed for, error creating email message, null
Any thoughts on the cause?

importing archives
Dear,
I'm trying to import archives off my colleagues using outlook.
We recently switched over to the o365 environment, however each time i try to import the pst i get a connection loss with the o365 servers resulting in a failure of the import .
This happens every single time , i will never get it imported like this. are there steps that i can take to make sure this will work?
so far i've tried :
-manual import into o365 on 3 different pc's
-use the avoid using the switches , connected straight to our modem/router .
-used capture pst
i"m getting desperate, is outlook so instable at this point? that it can't import a 2gb pst into o365 online archive?

Office 365 for Mac Onedrive File Sharing Error
Hi all,
I've discovered a couple of problems with Onedrive File Sharing through Office 365 for Mac. I can't be the only one having these and they are driving me crazy.
So- I upload files to Onedrive and try to share them with clients. When the 'message box' appears...
1) My clients email address will not autofill (even though I've saved them to my contacts and previously shared files with them). This happens for some email adresses, but not others
And the big problem
2) If my message exceeds a certain number of characters (I've figured out it's this at least, but am not sure what the limit is) I get this error message....
Of course, the contents of the message are lost and there is no going back.
Between the 2 error messages, there is a lot of copying and pasting, lost text, time and frustration.
Anyone know how I can report this to Microsoft? Is this the place?
Cheers,
Anthony

Outlook for Mac 2015 keeps asking for Password ("Account Information")
Hello everyone
My Outlook for Mac (v15.10.0 150508) keeps asking for account information to both my Gmail Account as well as my Outlook Account.
Sometimes, it asks multiple times a day, sometimes just after a restart / coming back from standby mode.
Often, a restart of Outlook helps, and when I delete/repair the Keychain in Keychain Access it works again too. But then the next time it asks for the passwords again. Sometimes even multiple times for the same account.
I'm using:
- OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on a MacBook Pro Retina 13" Early-2015
- Outlook for Mac v15.10.0 150508
Maybe one reason might be that my login/main E-Mail Adress to Outlook is not an @outlook.com address but a personal one I linked to that Outlook account?
But then again, the same happens (but less often) to my GMail account.
I also tried to set-up the Outlook Account again multiple times with different log-in emails and such but it did not help.
I actually already had the same issue on Outlook for Mac 2011 and on my older Macbook...
Here's a picture:
It's really annoying...
Any help?
"sorry we're having temporary server issues" on new install of Office365 student on Mac
I am unable to activate Office365 on my new Macbook Pro. I previously installed this on my other Macbook Pro without issue. When I try to sign in to my existing account, I get "sorry we're having temporary server issues. Please try again later". When I hit try again, it takes me to where I can insert my email address but it will not let me click "Next".

Why the shared calendar is not showing in Outlook 2011 for Mac
1. Lyra shared her calendar for several users
2. After these users added the shared calendar, its not showing in the Outlook 2011 for Mac users. For Windows users, Office2013 - its showing no issue.
on the Outlook Web App, shared calendars are showing - no issue.
Attachments greyed out in Outlook 15.10.0 for Mac
I make reference to the problem described in discussion: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/153/t/294597.aspx
Apparently, I am facing the same problem:
Windows Outlook 2013 and OWA are working fine. The issue is with Outlook for Mac client only. Very few, selected, E-Mails show an attachment including paper clip but file name greyed out which cannot be replied/ forwarded and/ or the attachment saved.
I would appreciate some advise. Thanks!
Office 365 Hybrid - MAC
Hi,
I have Exchange hybrid with Office 365. As we know once a mailbox moved to the cloud, outlook users will get a message to restart the outlook. Once restarted it will automatically connects to Office 365. No need to download mails again. Outlook will be the same and user won't feel a difference. I want to know when a MAC user who uses Office 2011, what will be the user experience? Does the user need to create outlook account again or is it same as windows?

Exchange Contacts in Outlook 2011 and 15 for Mac
I have added some contacts through the web interface to the Exchange contacts list ( from the Office 365 admin portal) but I can't view those contacts in Outlook for Mac. I can type them into the To field in an email and Check Names and it finds the name I type in and autocorrects it but I can't go into contacts and actually view the GAL anywhere. I've tried using the Contacts Search button but nothing comes up. Is this a feature on Outlook for Mac that just doesn't work or am I missing something? It seems to work just fine on a PC when I click Address Book in Outlook.
Error when sending attachments larger than about 2mb
Hi,
I am getting the following error when sending attachments anything larger than about 2mb
An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic.
Error code: -1001
I am using outlook for mac 15.10.0 (150508) on OS X 10.10.3
Access is via an office 365 account, so I am using exchange and unable to change ports etc as described in other posts.
Problem has been occurring for a few weeks, signing into office 365 and attaching via browser works fine.
