MAC onedrive for business client is not syncing on my macbook air

I have tried a few times of deleting and redownloading the app from the microsoft website, but the syncing is now hanging like above photo. Is very frustrating as now means I will have to go and download each individual file to then send them to non onedrive users. These are business critical items. PLEASE HELP
