I received a meeting invite which Outlook told me was in an unsupported format so I declined it. That decline has caused my outlook to repeatedly send server requests that are adding 100's of the same recurring meeting to my calendar. It's rendered my Outlook unusable as every time I open Outlook, the requests to the server start again and the machine (MacBook Pro running Yosemite) grinds to a crawl.
I tried closing Outlook and restarting, in both versions I have (Mac 2011, Mac 2015). I can't cancel the server requests or stop the sync. The meetings show up on Outlook online as well, and on my iPhone (where I've disabled the calendar). I've tried deleting the series both from the individual invites and the "all appointments" view. Nothing is working.
Need some help with this one...I tried downloading the MFCMAPI tool but Mac won't launch it.
Should I uninstall? Delete account?
