I made the BAD mistake of enabling the archive feature for all of our users last night via powershell and now their mailboxes are split in half with stuff older than 2 years moved to this archive! I wish I'd known it was going to do that automatically!! Rather annoying! I realize now this was because of the default retention policy which I WISH I had disabled ahead of time but alas...
If there was any way to UNDO that that'd be great! Assuming that is not possible, I now have an issue with tasks which have been archived into this "hidden" tasks folder which is not available via OWA and does not show inside of Outlook for Mac. at LEAST have an issue with the Tasks feature which does NOT show archived tasks. Several users (including myself) have tasks which are older than two years and have now been moved to this "hidden" tasks folder inside of the archive mailbox, but OWA does not give us access to that. NEITHER does the Mac client which most of our traveling department directors are using, so now we have most of our building with split mailboxes and tasks they cannot access! Any help would be appreciated.
