Password Notification for Office for Mac 2011

I am trying to find out if Office for Mac 2011 or Outlook for Mac 2011 offer any password expiration notification to Office 365 users that their password is about to expire.

This thread over a year ago indicates that this feature was being worked on, while another person says this feature works with Outlook 2011 14.3.2

Could someone please confirm if this functionality exists in Office for Mac 2011, and if so, what update it requires?
