Hi,
a few days agou Outlook for Mac (2015) suddenly stopped receiving any email. First I thought noone is sending undtil i opened OWA and Apple Mail and I saw lots of messages coming in. I tried the following to resolve the issue:
- manual sync - outlook claims 'sync pending for this folder' then "this folder is up to date' - no new messages
- deleting the cache for inbox - all messages gone and still not syncing, no messages at all now
- deleting the office identity and re-creating. Folders from the account are created but no email messages. If I cange folders in OWA the cahnges make it to Outlook for Mac - so that works
- Sync status shows no errors only syncing the Calendar for days now (about 1 item per 5-10 seconds)
- Tried to enable error logging but no additional log files are created.
I'm left in the impression that Outlook 2015 for Mac is beta software as there is no way to tell what's going wrong. I've additionally now installed Outlook for Mac 2011 and I get all emails and Calendar Items withing minutes. Outlook 2015 still doesn't work.
Frustrating!!!!
