After 7 month of using Office for Mac 2011 without any problem I now find myself experiencing the much talked about problem of repeated request to reactivate the programs and whatever I try the best I can achieve is to use the programs for read only access to my existing files. I have made no known changes to my computer (mid 2012 MacBook Air) so I have no idea what has caused this problem, however it is extremely frustrating and embarrassing as I can find no way to fix the problem and because I am away from home I do not have an internet connection capable of reloading the huge program files.
The only thing that is different is that I am using my computer in a different country, is there something region specific in the licensing agreement? My home is in the UK, I have previously used the computer in Saudi Arabia with no problem, however today I have the problem when using it in Iceland.
Can anyone help me please? This is really inconvenient and I am very disappointed.
