Syncing OWA distribution list with office 365 for mac

Hi

I primarily used office with the online OWA

I set up a distribution list and added 150 names

Now I've installed outlook 15 for mac on my computer

I'd like to access the distribution list and be fully able to edit; but i'm not having any luck

For example, when sending an email, if I want to send to the entire distribution list minus a name or two,

If I created the list in outlook desktop version, I could click on the distribution list , in the TO: field and then expand the list and remove various names,

But once synced with OWA this option is not available.

Please advise
